INTRO
The 3MBS Radiothon is an annual event used to raise funds and awareness for the community radio channel. In 2023, Radiothon culminated around the tag line ‘Embrace Your Station’. 3MBS wanted to encourage its audience to come together and celebrate classical music as a close knit community.

Using traditional hand painted techniques, the design creates the impression that the title is falling into and being embraced by the community of 3MBS. Each person is of differing colour to demonstrate the diversity and variety of the 3MBS community - the listeners, artists, volunteers, donors and employees.
Contrast was used throughout the artwork to inject energy and excitement. Radiothon is a time to celebrate the 3MBS community and motivate patrons to donate to the station. This design was aimed to be a symbol that the community could rally around, a powerful statement that unites the community.
The fundraising event was advertised on a large array of mediums ranging from printed collateral, social media campaigns and cinema advertising. The reach of this campaign was extensive and culminated in a resounding success. The 2023 Radiothon was the station’s most successful edition to date.
